premise.Welcome to New York City in a world based off of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Vampires are legal voting citizens and lycanthropes walk free around us. The Sidhe blend amongst the crowds and witches are selling their charms at corner shops. It's not unusual to hear of another zombie raised in the nearest cemetery and your boss, your teacher or even your best friend could be one of these preternatural creatures. The world of the preternatural is legal but that does not mean there are no hate groups rising against them. Prejudice is high and there's always an executioner around the corner making sure you're behaving, bounty hunters coming to collect their bounties. Whether you're human, vampire or lycanthrope, amongst many, you'd better make the best of your time in New York City.
